On Sunday, April 24th (2-6 PM), we will celebrate Great Enlightenment Day with an Open House and a dedication ceremony for the temple’s newly expanded Meditation Garden, which features a universally accessible Il-Won (One-Circle) path—the symbol of the enlightenment of Won Buddhism’s Founding Teacher.
The afternoon also will feature traditional Korean drumming, introduction to meditation & other mini-classes, guided tours, and children’s activities. Come and enjoy a fun afternoon in a beautiful setting! The gift shop will be open, and tea & snacks will be available throughout the afternoon.
